Golf Pro Bill Pearse

Bill Pearse is beginning his 12th year with Trempealeau Mountain Golf Club. He was the 2006 Callaway Golf's Central Region Club Fitter of the Year.  Bill is the PGA Pro and General Manager.  Born and raised in La Crosse, Wisconsin, he is from a family of eight.  His father, Dick Pearse, was a former president of the Wisconsin State Golf Association.  Bill enjoyed success as a junior golfer.  He was a member of two State High School Championship Teams, one "City" State Championship Team as well as being an individual State Medalist his senior year.  He played college golf at University of Wisconsin - La Crosse.

All along, he wanted to be a PGA Club Professional.  He started out his PGA Apprenticeship working at Rolling Meadows Golf Course in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.  He moved on to River Plantation Country Club in Conroe, Texas as the First Assistant.  He then helped open a (new) Pete Dye designed course in Mesa, Arizona (Red Mountain Ranch Country Club).  He was the Head Golf Professional for seven years before taking over as the General Manager at Silver Springs Shores in Ocala, Florida.

Bill worked almost 13 years with Club Corporation of America, one of the leading golf management companies in the world.  He is very proud of his time with CCA and greatly values all he learned regarding the business aspect of the golf industry along with the hospitality side of the business.

Bill and his wife Kathy (29 years) along with their son's Bryan and Billy (and dog S'more) now reside in Holmen, Wisconsin.  After several years coaching his son's basketball teams, he now enjoys watching his youngest, Bryan, play basketball.  Bill can be found many winter evenings at his Trempealeau Mountain Golf Studio teaching his oldest son Billy.  Bill and Kathy are Green Bay Packer season ticket holders and bleed Green and Gold.  His fondest memory in his golf career is his friendship with the founders of Trempealeau Mountain, Linda and Harold Wilber.
